WFMW: Giant Caribeiner
This week, I want to share with you my new found love for my Giant Caribiner.

I got one of these two days ago for about $4 bucks. I can’t even tell you how much I am in love with it!
So far, I have used it to:
- Walk both dogs at the same time (what I originally bought it for)
- Carry shopping bags (Added Bonus function. It works on reusable totes and plastic shopping bags.)
- Attach my small purse to my diaper bag.
- Attach my purse or diaper bag to a shopping cart or stroller.
UPDATED TO ADD: Since you have asked, it is approx. 6 or 7 inches long. My hand will comfortably fit inside with room to spare. The rubberized grip is pretty nice to keep it from slipping in my hand. I purchased it at a big box pet store for about $4. I may go get more!
I can’t wait to find new uses for it too!
What is working for you? Head on over to Shannon’s site to check out tips and tricks from lots of other folks.
Be sure to check back for next week’s WFMW. I will share the advice that I garnered from last week’s Backwards WFMW!

How big is it? All your ideas sound great. But I’m anxious to know the dimensions.

Christy: I would say that it is between 6 and 7 inches long. It is comfortable enough for my hand to fit around the rubberized grip. Does this help?
ah, a tool that multi-tasks; love it! You can use it to keep your keeps clipped to your bag handle so they don’t end up buried a the bottom.

Christy: That is also another idea. I already have a caribiner on my keychain, so I didn’t list that. I should have though!
Thanks Christy! I’m going to have to go find one of these for myself.

I NEED one!! That is really amazing. I’ve never seen one with a rubberized handle and so big. That’s what really makes this one so great. Did you find it at the sporting goods store?

Wow, what a great idea. I love the fact you can use it to carry multiple bags of groceries. I hate having to go back out for the 1-2 bags that you just couldn’t get and close the trunk and get in the house.

I have the same ones!
Aren’t they great?
I do everything with it.
Attach a sjawl to trousers so I can take them in one grasp in the morning,
keys to the bag,
or hang something to the doorkeys so I won’t forget it when leaving,
I have one with notes of things that need to be done.
When it’s done it’s thrown away.
Etc.

When my husband left (mountain biker, kayaker) he left a lot of these behind. I adore them! Purse to carry-on while in the airport; all earthly possessions on one carabiner in the overhead flight bins; stuffed animal to kid’s overnight bag; small ones to attach those hanging do-dads kids carry on backpacks; kids sort their own laundry into grocery bags in the bedroom (one for whites, jeans, darks, reds, other colours, unmentionables), clip all bags on carabiner, easy trip downstairs and sorting is all done!
