I am a HUGE fan of Vera Bradley bags. They are comfy to carry and very well made. I also like the fact that most of them are machine washable! The colors of this bag make it a fun springy bag to carry you out of the winter season. I wish I had two…now I want to keep it!

An interesting fact about me is that I have a name pattern with my children! They all have the same ending. So, now that I am pregnant with #5…we can’t just break the pattern, so the name we have chosen has that same ending, lol. My boys’ names are Nolan, Gideon, Haddon, and Jamison…see what I mean? lol

Interesting thing about me…I wanted to go to community college to learn musical instrument repair (there are two in the country that teach it) but I couldn’t afford it. I did, however, have free tuition at a private university (thanks to my dad working there) so instead, I studied and got a Bachelors of Arts and Science in Professional Accounting and Sociology. Naturally with that kind of education, I am a housewife!
One interesting thing about me - I am a single mom of a seven year old going on 21! That isn’t really interesting - I am a scrapbooking fanatic, but I never seem to get caught up. I have a chiweenie dog - is that interesting?

Interesting fact…I have known my husband since we were 13 years old, didn’t date until college and just celebrated 17 years of marriage.

They are so little, they can be anywhere. I mean deathly afraid so much so that I can’t even look at them when they are shown on t.v. Plus it doesn’t help that my duaghter owns a horse and mice and barns go hand in hand. I can’t even walk in the barn. I don’t dare walk down where the stalls are, I go straight to the viewing room. EEks!!!!

My interesting fact is that my blog is called Homeward Bound. I think it is ironic how similar that name is to yours! At the age of 45, I went white water rafting. At the age of 46, I went sky diving. At the age of 47, I left the city where I had lived my entire life - I took a job in Europe. I had only been on an airplane once in my entire life and didn’t even have a passport. Now I live in Germany. I have been married FOUR times. I married my first husband one time. My second husband was also my third and fourth husband. I also have twin daughters - 31 years old. Enough of those ‘interesting’ things?

well, when i was 16, I was in a horrible car accident, was in a coma for a week and shattered my left elbow which is now rebuilt with 2 metal plates and 17 screws. (you cant tell though, except for the scar on my arm). It was a tragic thing…but I feel blessed that God delivered me through it and has taught me ALOT from it!
oh..and another fact..LOL (on the funny side)~i can curl my tongue into 5 little loops (it hurts..but i can do it LOL)

Interesting fact: My hubby and I were born in the same city. I was a military brat and travelled a LOT. His family lived in the same city until he went to college… and that’s where we met!!! We even attended the same middle school… a year apart! I’m so glad God worked that out for us ’cause I really like him.

One night, when I was about 5 years old, I got up in the middle of the night to sneak into the cookie jar and there were no cookies. So.. I went hunting thru the cabinets for a treat. The only thing I found remotely connected to “sweets” was the cinnamon spice in the tin.I figured since my mother made me cinnamon sugar toast, that cinnamon must be delicous. I poured a whole spoonful and shoved it in my mouth. It was not delicious without the sugar, toast and butter!

Something interesting about me….I graduated high school 9 years ago, am 26 yrs. old now, have been married for almost 3 yrs., and am currently a junior in college!

My husband says I have talented toes. Nothing naughty, now! I can pick up, move and even throw things with my toes. It sounds sort of icky, but it comes in pretty handy when you’ve got an inant in one arm, a toddler in the other and the pathway into bed is blocked by stuffed toys!

Fun giveaway. In my pre-mommy life, I got paid to climb trees.
I spent a month in Hawaii studying the volcanoes, and I got to play in the molten lava with my rock hammer. I even took some old keys and made a “lava sculpture” with car keys sticking out of it. Just because I’m a little strange like that.

I would love to win this beautiful bag! One interesting thing about me is that I was the first person in the USA to receive a titanium great toe replacement. I had dropped a vending machine on my toe and smashed the joint. I was a volunteer firefighter and had to have the flexability that fussion wouldn’t give me. The docs thought being a firefighter was important enough to try the surgery on and it did beautifully. Now, my case is in all sorts of medical liturature and the surgery is available to anyone.

The place was set up for over 800 people to attend. The ladies of Vera Bradley are wonderful people. And I love their handbags and all their products.

interesting fact? I am conversationally fluent in American Sign Language and want to be an interpreter.
I must sleep on my stomach. After I delivered my son via C-section, the nurses at the hospital actually had to manually turn me over onto my stomach so that I could sleep. I can’t sleep during plane rides or in cars because I can’t get on my tummy. Even 9 months pregnant - I would make a little nest of pillows and heave my belly into it to go to sleep.

My hair hasn’t changed color yet…..graduated from HS in 1969 (so you can figure that one out yourself) LOL!
My daughter has red hair like me, and everyone thinks that I’m her older sister….she’s only 34, so she really gets irritated about this…..my husbands’s hair, beard and moustache are all white, and people think that he’s my father. He could care less, but I think it’s funny!
I am a SAHM of 4 kids ages 5 and under, all single births. The oldest was exactly 4 1/2 when the 4th was born. WHEW!
hmm, my fact is.. I have never owned a designer anything.. LOL
okay, something relevent.. my last child (the ABSOLUTE SUPRISE ONE!) and I were concieved on the same day. 31 years apart. I had him 2 days after my birthday.
I would love to win the bag. Interesting fact about me….I love symmetry and order even to the point where sometimes I will find myself fixing products in stores on shelves when shopping. A touch of OCD.
