Okay, so the first song that came to my mind when you said “work-out song” was, “Let’s Get Physical” by Olivia Newton John. I just can’t get those images out of my head. Ahhhhhhhhh! I am sure that many an aerobics class worked out to that one in the 80’s.

  29. jodi Says:

We’ve recently come across a band called Fireflight - they’re a Christian group, but extremely great sound and their lyrics aren’t cheesy at all - if you’ve ever seen Bionic Woman, their song Unbreakable is used for the intro. As far as secular for a workout…I’d have to say “Staying Alive” or “I will survive” Great giveaway - thanks!

Holler Back Girl from Gwen Stefani is on my work out list. The stompling beat really gets me into the mood to move my feet.

  123. Genevieve Says:

Work out? What’s that? : ) But seriously, I usually put on Tchaikovsky’s 1812 or something like that when I want to get us moving.

  124. Suzie Says:

At the risk of souding totally lame, the new Hannah Montana CD makes me totally want to Groove! Especially Life’s What You Make it.

Hello! I love Siggs. Unfortunately, so far, I’ve loved them from afar. I have not yet bellied up to the cash register to purchase one. I keep refilling my own (plastic) bottle, but now I have just read about BFEs or BFGs, or something like that…something that is not good in plastic bottles. So hopefully, hopefully, I can win one of your Siggies on your giveaway!!!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  135. Adria Sha Says:

I think the best music to work out to is Electronica (genre). It’s easy to just go and go and go and go.

But I really like Let’s Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas, too.

  136. Krista Says:

My son’s favorite color is red so this would be so perfect! I don’t know that I have any song suggestions for you… I only listen to country! Although there is this one song by Big and Rich that has a pretty good beat… except I’m really really bad at being able to name songs! All I know is that there’s this really fast partner country dance you do to it that gives you quite the workout! :) Sorry I’m not more helpful! My workouts include chasing my son around the house and going for walks in the park with friends so we don’t have music!

Clearly, I don’t need a sigg with airplanes and hot air balloons, so if my number is drawn, give it to someone else! hahaha

My current favorite for working out is Robert Randolph and the Family. I like “colorblind” It’s a very ecclectic sound and the entire album has a good mix of good driving beat and lighter stuff for a good cool down. Check it out :)
