WFMW: The Holiday Edition
Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 12:37AM
Shannon, over at Rocks in my Dryer has asked for tips on managing the holiday craziness that hits every year about this time! Here's my only suggestion:
When wrapping gifts, I try to wrap each family's gifts in a different paper. If I am only using brown paper, I will use different colored ribbons. This way, if I am headed to the in-law's house, I can swoop in and grab all the green wrapped presents. If I am headed to my family, I'll pick up the red presents. This helps me to make sure that the correct gifts make it to the correct locations!
You can even find GREAT wrapping paper on sale after the Holidays are over so you will have some on hand for next year when you start wrapping presents.
That's what is working for me! What works for you? Head on over to Rocks in My Dryer to find out other tips and tricks and leave your own!

Fricking brilliant.
Great tip! I did that this year--all the gifts going to my mom's house and the early-open gifts (jammies) are wrapped in one style of paper. The gifts that we'll open at home are in another, and Santa gifts/stocking stuffers are in yet another. I hide the Santa paper and the presents wrapped in it because my kiddos are small.
