The Drugstore Game

The goodies from my last few trips to CVS and Walgreens.
Here's how it all broke down:
Walgreens Trip 1:
6 Trial Size Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner
=================
$8.34 Out Of Pocket
$12 Back in Register Rewards
Walgreens Trip 2:
6 Trial Size Herbal Essence Shampoo/Conditioner
(I got two cartons of milk too.)
=================
$10.48 OOP
$12 Back in RRs
CVS Trip 1:
1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo
1 Garnier Fructis Conditioner
4 Russell Stover Creme Eggs (Kind of like a Cadbury, but they are different)
4 Russel Stover Cream Eggs (Yeah, they’re different)
===========================================
$2.12 OOP
$4 Extra Care Bucks Back
CVS Trip 2:
1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo
1 Garnier Fructis Smoothing Gel
2 Oral B Cross Action Pro Health Toothbrushes
Benedryl Perfect Measure Spoons (for and upcoming plane trip)
Travel Size Crest Toothpast (for trip)
Pedialyte (Ladybug is sick)
Jug of Pedialyte
=============================
$13.41 OOP
$14.98 ECB Back
This is the first week that I have actually netted a profit from my “deals”. I could have done more, but I can’t seem to find a few of the CVS products that are generating ECBs this week. I’m hoping to make it to a few of the stores this Thursday when they get their shipments.
I think that I am starting to really get the hang of it! We are set on haircare products for a while. If only I could figure out how to get paid to “buy” toilet paper!

I've got several of those things that I bought when I was doing the drugstore game....
I don't use them.
But I bought them.
And now 18 months later, I still HAVE them! Unused.
(sigh)

I'm still not sure how Walgreens works - but I definitely love CVS. They also have free Venus razors if you have the q for them! I love those! :) We have a ton of shampoo around here too - all that I got for free! :)

I've never tried anything like this, would you mind giving me a walk through on how its done and what you use and where you get the info? Like what is an ECB and Register Rewards?
Sorry for all the questions but this drugstore game seems like it is really worth doing :)
