Eleanor Rigby
Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 11:47PM I have always loved The Beatles' song, "Eleanor Rigby." Well, ever since jr High at least. We played it as part of our School Orchestra's spring pops concert one year and that is actually when I fell in love with it. The song has a dark melodic orchestral feel to it, but it's not heavy. In fact, I would say that The Beatles' rendition is very near perfection.
Tonight, I fell even harder for a song that I was already in love with.

How the heck does that stuff end up on YouTube so fast??
That was an interesting rendition. I'm not a rocker like that, so I missed something. I will say, that little country girl.....I think she did a great job making "8 Days a Week" her own and she was slammed harshly. And David A....I'm one of his biggest fans, but he messed up the lyrics THREE times and he wasn't slammed hard enough. You CAN'T do that at this point in the competition.
